CLASP's Global Research team aims to accelerate the implementation of best-in-class appliance standards and labeling policies through CLASP country programs and globally by conducting original research, facilitating collaboration, and supporting training and knowledge exchange.
The Global Research team takes a systematic and progressive approach for accelerating timelines for S&L activities and information sharing at a global scale. CLASP provides key policymakers and stakeholders with tailored resources to make informed choices on appliance S&L and related activities. To expand and strengthen the expertise of S&L practitioners worldwide, the Global Research team also engages in a wide range of S&L information dissemination projects.
To maximize energy savings, drive information exchange with other international initiatives, and prevent duplication of effort in the S&L community, the Global Research team coordinates and collaborates with several international initiatives including IEA-4E, SEAD, and APEC EGEE&C.
CLASP’s Global Research activities are supported by funding from the ClimateWorks Foundation. For more information on CLASP’s Global Research team, download a factsheet here .
