His key areas of focus included S&L programs for appliances, utility demand side management, climate change, and the clean development mechanism. Amit has collaborated extensively with senior leaders and programmatic staff at CLASP and BEE on the appliance S&L program, and his experience and relationships will be a strong asset to both organizations. As Program Manager, Amit will collaborate closely with CLASP and BEE in the development and execution of activities in support of the Super-efficient Equipment and Appliance Deployment (SEAD) Initiative while also supporting CLASP’s India team in the provision of technical assistance to BEE on the appliance S&L program.
